The Region of la Vera, (Extremadura, Spain), has its own specific climate, defined as
SUBTROPICAL MEDITERRANEAN MICROCLIMATE.
It is thanks to this, that its population has always been able to cultivate al type of crops, such as tobacco plant, peppers, asparagus, raspberries, oranges, kiwis, bananas and an endless number of fruit trees...
Its location at the bottom of the Gredos Mountains, blesses this Region, with a mild climate and with abundant water. It has many rivers, suitable for bathing, as well as reservoirs (available for swimming, sailing, fishing...)
